Chevron Scrapghan Adventure CAL (Work in Progress)

Evening 👋

It’s Friday night and I’ve just settled down to watch a bit of TV and continue working on my current WIP (work in progress), my Chevron Scrapghan Adventure Blanket.

The pattern is free on the blog and can be found here. I’m currently hosting a crochet along (CAL) featuring this pattern over on my Instagram account @mycrochetplace.

I started with a foundation chain of 189 (which is big enough for a decent sized lap blanket) and a large box of yarn oddments

Here’s where I’m up to so far, I think I’m roughly about half way and I have plenty of yarn scraps to add to it (probably too many 🙈😂). My favourite thing about making this type of blanket is that each one is unique. I also get the chance to experiment with new colour combinations which makes working up this blanket exciting (in my opinion). There are quite a few yarn ends to contend with but I actually enjoy sewing these in at the end!

Just look at all those pretty colours! 😍🌈

If you’re looking for a nice repetitive and mindless, crochet pattern while you’re social distancing/self isolating this one might be the one for you, especially if you are overwhelmed with yarn oddments like me!

Anyway, my blanket and Netflix is calling me I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Take care, Eleri x
